Why tinsel? It is nostalgic, of course. Christmas past was not complete without a box of tinsel. A little or a lot to place upon the Christmas tree. Often or not little slivers of tinsel would end up on the floor only to be vacuumed. And alas, the next year another box or so would be purchased to replace it. Like it or not, it made a wonderful addition to an already colorful tree. 🎄
