It is always after Halloween that you discover that that holiday is one of the most important holidays of the year for creativity and decor. Yes, decor but especially outside decor. You have to takedown Halloween decor just like Christmas decor. If you decide to let your creativity, dictate your decor, than you may have more Halloween decor than most. However, there is more than taking down decor, remember that an abundance of candy can be donated and Halloween costumes can be recycled or donated as well. A creepy ghoul mask can actually be a great addition to a pile of donations. Also, the color palette does not have to change too much because Thanksgiving is on the horizon. However, note that jack o lanterns are not as important as solid pumpkin decor. Most would think Thanksgiving would be not a holiday of creative decor but actually you wouldnβt believe how many turkey decorations, corn husks and fall themed prints become the focus. Create and allow your decor to become easier and easier as you rely on certain color palettes to guide you along the way. Always remember, the goal is to enjoy the process.
